Course Level
Not relevant to this programme
Reference Number
QET2MC02/CCP0
Introduction
- Our 2D Computer Aided Draughting & Design courses are tailored to suit those candidates seeking to gain experience in the use of AutoCAD. Autocad has been in existence since 1983 and has established itself as one of the most popular CAD packages in use today. Whether your interest is in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Installation, Heating / Ventilation & Air Conditioning, Interior Design, Space Planning (Room Furniture Layout), Exhibition Design, Stage Set Design, or Product Design, as an aid to Web Page & Game Design - our team of lecturers include many whose backgrounds are founded in a wide range of design applications. We employ a variety of teaching methods to make your learning experience not only relevant but we hope interesting as well. Early group activities utilise a projection screen system, which enables your tutor to demonstrate and lead you through features as well as introductory exercises. You will work through a series of four workbooks taking you from basic construction through to complex drawings aimed at preparing you for a practical work environment. The drawing exercises are designed so that you can work through at your own pace once you feel confident enough.
