As an AAT-qualified accounting technician you will have an internationally recognised and respected qualification that shows potential employers that you have been trained to a high standard.
The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is the UK’s leading qualification and membership body for accounting staff. They award around 90% of all vocational qualifications in accounting, and are sponsored by the professional accounting bodies. The AAT has over 120,000 members in more than 90 countries, working at all levels of finance – from account clerks to finance directors.
If you want to gain a well recognised qualification, further your career in accounting or move into the field of accountancy, perhaps following a career break an AAT course is ideal.
Solihull College is a long-term approved assessment centre for the AAT and offers the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting. Our courses will allow you to learn practical as well as academic skills.
Whilst on the course you will benefit from a high level of support from our committed and qualified lecturers. Our success rates are excellent, with a number of students consistently achieving high grades.
Solihull College has established excellent links with local businesses, many of whom choose us every year to deliver AAT courses to their trainee accountants.
Each completion of an AAT Level is a qualification in its own right. Full completion of the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting and work experience will lead to designated letters (MAAT) after your name. If you wish to progress further with your career and academic qualifications you can achieve chartered accountancy status by taking advantage of the exemptions that completing The AAT offers.
