Where will this course lead?

You will define a Web site; lay out pages effectively with Cascading Style Sheets; use tables; create rollovers; work with templates, media objects, and forms; and design for mobile devices. Also learn how to use the new features in Adobe Dreamweaver Creative Suite, including the new Spry framework for Ajax, Spry widgets and effects, advanced Photoshop CS integration, a new Browser Compatibility Check feature, CSS layouts, a new Manage CSS feature, integration with Adobe Device Control for creating mobile content, and Adobe Bridge.

How will this course be delivered?

This ten session course instructor led course with hands-on exercises to master modern Web design and workflow techniques, creating effective web sites using Adobe Dreamweaver Creative Suite, ideal for beginner to intermediate level Web designers and Web developers.

Courses are typically available one day/week, multiple days/week or one evening/week. These courses may not follow the normal academic calendar. The course includes independent study exercises.

This course is available to study in daytime or evening sessions.

What qualifications will I get?

Vocational study not leading to a recognised qualification, Information and Communication Technology (SSA 6)

How will I be assessed?

This course is ideal for beginner to intermediate level Web designers and Web developers. There is no formal assessment at the end of this course.

There is no formal examination required; however students may take the Adobe ACA Web Communication using Adobe Dreamweaver exam

How do I get a place on the course?

Places are offered by interview.

What are the entry requirements?

This course is ideal for beginner to intermediate level Web designers and Web developers. Student should have access to the appropriate version of Adobe Dreamweaver Creative Suite.

What else do I need to know?

Students may use this course to study for the Adobe ACA Web Communication using Adobe Dreamweaver exam
