All smiles as Spar staff make the grade
Customers visiting their local Spar store can look forward to receiving the very highest levels of service after employees at the convenience store successfully completed courses in Customer Service and Food Hygiene with Solihull College.
Both courses were designed, developed and delivered by Solihull College in partnership with the convenience store with employees at Spar's Cotteridge shop being the latest employees to successfully complete the scheme.
The College and the chain of convenience stores have enjoyed a long and successful partnership.
Craig Harris, Manager at the Cotteridge store said:
"All of the Tate owned Spar stores in the West Midlands use Solihull College to deliver their training and have done so for the last 10 years. The staff receive excellent training which makes people feel more valued by the company. They are able to progress their learning and feel more rewarded personally as well as the financial rewards of greater pay. From a store point of view, the staff push themselves to learn more which in turn improves the business."
Call the Employer Services team on 0121 678 7181 or email sales@solihull.ac.uk. A member of our dedicated team will be pleased to discuss your needs, answer your questions, and arrange for a follow-up call or visit from a Business Sales Advisor at a time to suit you.
