Solihull College provides local and national businesses every year with talented, dedicated and professional young apprentices, keen on gaining industry experience to benefit their chosen companies whilst working towards honing their skills and progressing towards their own qualifications.
Our apprentice programmes are offered at intermediate level 2, advanced level 3 and higher at level 4 and above, guiding our young learners with a structured training schedule to apply in the workplace and earn as they learn, through both practical work-based training and education at the college.
We are one of the leading employee training providers in the UK and West Midlands, with employer services currently working in businesses across Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Coventry and Warwickshire.
By providing apprenticeships:
Any company can benefit from taking on an apprentice. if you can offer £3.30 per hour and 30 hours a week we can help you access your future talent pool.
Apprenticeships are available to anyone from the age of 16 who wishes to become experienced and trained in a particular industry, whether they are new or already employed in the sector. The duration of training depends on the chosen vocational area and level. Achieving the full apprenticeship framework can take from 12 to 48 months. Trainees receive some pay while learning (although this will be less than a full-time employee would get).
And many more
At Solihull College we work with over 1000 employers and have around 400 students working on our apprenticeship programmes.
Apprenticeships are designed to be easy for employers and young people, so the college takes care of all aspects of training and delivery.
