Bearrific Pyjamas!
Charitable students at Solihull College have raised over £1200 hosting an action-packed day of fun to raise money for this years Children In Need appeal.
The College’s Early Years staff and students donned their finest pyjamas for a day in a bid to raise money for the appeal.
They also held an afternoon of traditional fairground games including ‘Hook-a-Duck’ and ‘Hoopla’, as well as a Tombola and raffle. All prizes were donated by students.
Helen Perkins, Head of Early Years, Solihull College, says:
“It has been a brilliant day, the students worked very hard on their stalls and providing all the prizes. They’ve demonstrated that they can work together and have made a positive contribution. As well as having a good time, the students have really developed personal and social skills. This has now become an annual event which everyone looks forward to.”
Megan Moore, Early Year Student who has helped to organise the event says:
“The event has been really fun to organise but hard work too. Lots of people have donated, which has made the whole experience worth while. We hope that the money we have raised will make a difference to Children who need it most.”
