Where will this course lead?
This course is ideal for beginners and those with experience who wish to extend their skills further. The art of beautiful handwriting writing is mainly aimed at those wishing to use the skills for themselves but may also lead to self employment in the Craft and Design industry.
What will I study?
This course will cover different hands - advice will be given about the best style for you.

How will this course be delivered?
The course is practically based and is designed so that students are enabled to work on individual projects. The delivery is lead by tutor demonstration.
What qualifications will I get?
Non-externally-certificated non-FE other provision, Crafts, Creative Arts and Design SSA (09.2)
How will I be assessed?
This course is for personal development and is informally assessed by the Tutor with self assessment and evaluation by the student.

What are the entry requirements?
Students must be aged 16+.

What else do I need to know?
The tutor will inform you on the first session of any tools and equipment that are required. They will also have a list of suppliers where these will be available.
Solihull College offers full time and part time courses for businesses and residents in Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Coventry Warwickshire and the whole of the West Midlands.
What can I do after this course?
Progress to Jewellery Making, Stained Glass and Mosaics, Floristry, Sugarcraft and other craft based courses in Community or to Art and Fashion Design at main campus.
Is there anything else I will have to pay for in order to do this course?
Students are responsible for providing their own materials and books.
