College Launch Initiative for Local People and Businesses

Solihull College is launching a brand new initiative to encourage local professionals and businesses to fight back during the tough economic times. The College will host an Open Evening to showcase the substantial benefits of professional qualifications for local people and companies across Birmingham, Solihull and the West Midlands.

The College is keen to support locals and keep them at the forefront of their field by considering gaining extra qualifications to keep them ahead of the game, and enhance their competitive edge.

Philippa Blair from Shirley in Solihull, works for pub chain Enterprise Inns plc, based in Solihull. Philippa said:

“The company I work for had the foresight to understand that undertaking a professional qualification would be mutually beneficial to me, and the business.
