The powerful impact of computers is felt in every area of our lives. They have transformed the way we interact and work with each other, empowering us to create and achieve more.
Under the guidance of expert tutors and with access to industry-standard equipment, these courses equip you with essential IT skills and the ability to apply them to real-life scenarios. Courses are offered at Levels 1-3, leading naturally to employment, or to Higher Education after Level 3.
Such is the strength of our relationships with local businesses, we’re the first port of call for placements and many students benefit by working on live projects. The College is a member of both the Cisco and Microsoft Academies.
The Computing and IT Careers Event will feature a presentation from the Head of School about the Computing and IT courses available at Solihull College. We will also talk to you about the Higher Education programmes available to you on completion of the Level 3 course. There will also be employers at the event who can discuss the qualifications required for entry into employment.
