How will I be assessed?

Assessment is mainly via course work and practical assignments.

How do I get a place on the course?

Places are offered after an interview for candidates who have/are expected to achieve the entry requirements

What are the entry requirements?

Either 4 GCSE passes at grade A*/9 - C/4 to include Maths and preferably English and science, or a relevant Level 2 Diploma in Engineering at a Merit or Distinction grade. Also a good reference or school report and a successful interview.

What else do I need to know?

You need to provide pens, paper and a scientific calculator.

What can I do after this course?

You could progress to the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering for another year or find Apprenticeship/employment.
