This course is ideal for non native speakers in the UK who want to develop English for everyday use, further study or employment.

What will I study?

This is a Skills for Life course. It will develop English Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing skills. You will develop English language and practise these skills in class through discussion, presentations, telephone calls, report and academic writing and intensive reading.

- Study
- The Environment
- Impact of technology

How will this course be delivered?

In a classroom with students of different nationalities by a fully qualified ESOL tutor.

What qualifications will I get?

Certificate in Adult Literacy

How will I be assessed?

You will take an assessment in:
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking and Listening

How do I get a place on the course?

You will have an interview and a short test. Bring any ESOL certificates you have.

What are the entry requirements?

After your interview and assessment you will be placed in the best class for you.

What else do I need to know?

Bring pens and paper to class. Your teacher will give you work in class and for homework. You may also have to buy a coursebook.
