If you are employed or looking for employment within the Hospitality industry in the capacity of a waitress, waiter or bar staff then this Food and Beverage services Apprenticeship could be the ideal starting point for you to gain a qualification and bolster your academic credentials while you work, improving both your knowledge of the sector and you own job prospects.

You will be visited by an assessor/tutor in the workplace
NVQ Diploma in Food and Beverage Service (QCF)
Assessment is by practical observations, course work, assignments and external tests.
You will need to attend a College interview.

The Level 2 Apprentice is a rolling programme this means that you can join us any time of the year. This course is aimed at anyone working in or who are seeking to start a career in Hospitality Industry.
Good levels of English and Maths are important for your success in your course, your chosen vocation and life. Throughout your course you will continue to develop your English and Maths skills in your vocational classes.
If you haven't achieved an A*/9 - C/4 grade in English or Maths at GCSE, or a Level 2 Functional Skill, you will also be working towards a qualification in English or Maths at a level that will enable you to progress towards these grades.

On completion of the course learners will be qualified to work within the restaurant or other food and beverage sector which could include restaurants, hotels and casinos.
