Where will this course lead?
A varied and practical creative writing course, covering everything from poetry and fiction to travel and play writing aimed at all levels and aspirations - writing for fun or with publication in mind.
What will I study?
The course content will very much depend on the students and their experiences/interests, but it is likely to include:-
Group feedback/reading work in class
Writing exercises
Homework exercises (Optional)
It will cover topics:-
Fiction
Short stories
Plot
Dialogue
Setting
Point of view
Poetry - Haiku, Limericks, free verse
Writing for Magazines

Delivery is classroom based and designed to develop and individuals writing style.

Non-externally-certificated non-FE other provision, Publishing and Information Services SSA (09.4)
How will I be assessed?
This course is for personal development and is informally assessed by the Tutor with self assessment and evaluation by the student
