Donkeying around at Solihull College
A donkey duo have become the latest additions to Solihull College’s animal family.
Five year old Archie and four year old Eeyore, who are brother and sister, arrived at the College earlier this week after being moved from a small farm in Norfolk which ran out of room to keep them.
The playful pair are now the largest animals on campus and have their own spacious paddock to live in by day and stables to sleep in at night.
They join an array of furry friends already living on site including rabbits, ferrets and meerkats to name a few.
Claire Powell, the College’s Animal Care Centre Coordinator said: “We are really excited about the new arrivals. They are real cuties and love being around people. Our animal care students will be able to help us look after them which will be great for their studies as they’ll be able to get a practical insight into caring for larger animals.”
