We have recently expanded course resources and continue to develop existing facilities, which now include four gas producers, a Rolls Royce Viper jet engine, wing sections and advanced software to enhance learning. The College is also developing links within the industry, both in the private and public sectors. Experienced and qualified tutors will give you the tools and training you’ll need to repair and maintain vehicles, whether you’re interested in FastFit or even eyeing up a place in the Formula One pit lane.
You can start at beginner level, brush up old skills or take on the BTEC National Diploma in Motorsport Engineering, which could lead on to a degree. Whichever course you choose, you’ll acquire current, trade-relevant skills, benefit from up-to-date equipment and processes and improve your knowledge and experience. Electrical Installation
Looking to make your way as an electrician? All power to you on a course that really fits the bill…
Qualified and competent electricians are consistently in demand for private and contract work. This course has become a recognised route into the profession, combining theoretical work with practical skills. 50% of your time will be given over to workshop practice, learning and applying the basic skills of electrical installation under the watchful eye of industry experts.
The study of electrical principles and installation theory will support your practical work. The course also covers the crucial regulation knowledge and health and safety requirements that govern the trade, as well as the organisation and structure of the industry itself. On completion of the Level 3, you can use what you have learnt to progress onto university level courses.
