Student Ambassadors

The College's student ambassadors support the work of the marketing team by playing a vital role in promoting the College and showing prospective students and other visitors all that Solihull College has to offer.

The role of an ambassador is varied - from staffing a stand at a careers fair, giving a presentation at a school assembly, to showing people around the College campuses. The ambassador programme offers students the chance to develop their public speaking and team work skills and build upon their confidence and communication skills.

Student Council

We invite students to become representatives for their courses within the Student Council. A similar system operates for our Higher Education courses. Students are also represented at Governing Body level with two Student Governors elected to give a vital students perspective on the running of the College.

When you join the College, your tutors, staff in Student Services and the Student Liaison team will provide you with the information on the ways that you can broaden your experience by getting involved as a student representative and in our programme of enrichment and volunteering activities.
