A helping hand for your career in nursing, social care, social work or a range of health-related professions…
A huge variety of rewarding careers are open to you if your passion lies in taking care of others. Solihull College gives you the choice to study from Levels 1-3 before you decide on your next step.
You’ll also have the opportunity to gain additional qualifications while you study with us, including First Aid, People Handling and Infection Control. Go for a National Diploma and you’ll also be able to complete the NVQ2 in Health and Social Care in your second year. Practical work placements will play a crucial part in your course, giving you the inside track on working in the health and care sector. Our great relationships with local employers, including nursing and residential homes, day centres, nurseries and schools, have all been built with the sole purpose of opening doors for you.
The Health & Social Care Careers Event will include a presentation of the courses on offer and demonstrations of resources in a simulated care environment. There will also be a questions and answers session from past students who have gone on to university. Birmingham East and North Trust will also be in attendance to provide advice and guidance in careers within this field.
Call 0121 678 7000 to book your place at the Health & Social Care Careers Event. All places must be booked in advance.
