Our growing conditions are perfect if you want to be a landscape gardener, garden designer, parks manager…
Having a qualification under your belt can make a big dif ference to your career in horticulture. Solihull College puts some outstanding facilities at your disposal, including a stunning walled garden, poly tunnels, greenhouses and composting areas. You’ll be working under experienced and qualified tutors who bring a unique insight to an industry in which they actively work and understand what it takes to succeed.
Qualifications in these areas range from Levels 1-3, with Higher Education places yours for the taking, either at university or at specialist centres. Alongside your studies, work placements get you out and about, earning invaluable experience along the way. Links with local employers could lead to more than a placement. Many of our students find themselves taken on full time either during or at the end of their course.
The Horticulture Careers Event will include hands-on demonstrations from seed-planting to plant cutting. There will also be a presentation detailing all of the horticulture courses available as well as the career progression available whether this be onto university or into employment.
Call 0121 678 7000 to book your place at the Horticulture Careers Event. All places must be booked in advance.
