How do I apply?
Entry Requirements for Courses
Entry requirements for academic and vocational programmes are dependent upon your current qualifications and level of English.
Your standard of English needs to be assessed and scored through IELTS before you come to the College, as you will need to provide your IELTS score or equivalent when you apply for a course. You will also be required to supply transcripts of your qualifications and grades.
The Application Procedure
Please see the five-step process below, describing how to apply for a course at Solihull College and obtain a visa.
1. You apply directly to the College, or through UCAS (depending on the course)
2. The College assesses your application and makes an informal offer (not suitable for visa applications)
3. You accept the informal offer and pay a 25% deposit to secure your place
4. The College issues you a formal offer (which is suitable for visa applications) and acknowledges clearance of your deposit
5. You apply for your visa
