Introduction:
Our one day beginners IT programme is designed to ensure that those with limited or no experience in using IT gain a general overview of the most commonly used office applications. Our tutor led session will aim to leave candidates with the skills & confidence to start using IT at home and in business.
The course consists of the following areas:
Windows Internet Explorer
- How to use the internet
- Search engines
- Web based email
Microsoft Outlook
- Compose & Send emails
- Calendar, Reminders & Address book
Microsoft Word
- Creating a simple report or letter
- Spell Checking
- Font size, font type, use of colour
- Inserting clipart, bullet points
- Cut copy & Paste
- Printing Layout
Microsoft Excel
- Enter data to create a simple spreadsheet
- Basic formulae
- Insert row, column, sheet
- Editing, cut, copy, paste
- Basic charts - column, pie

1 Day short course 09:30am – 16:30pm
