Where will this course lead?

This course will help learners to prepare for the IELTS test and will provide relevant practice in the reading, writing, listening and speaking modules.

What will I study?

As well as focusing on reading, writing, speaking and listening skills for IELTS, in sessions there will also be regular homework tasks, a practice test, individual feedback and an end of course report.

How will this course be delivered?

The course runs for 10 weeks on Fridays from 9.30am-12.30pm

What qualifications will I get?

Vocational study not leading to a recognised qualification, Languages, Literature and Culture (SSA 12)

How will I be assessed?

End of course test, plus homework.

What can I do after this course?

For international students, IELTS is required by most universities. It is also required in the medical profession for non-native speaker.

Is there anything else I will have to pay for in order to do this course?

This is a preparation course and does not include the IELTS test fee which is approximately £95. The nearest IELTS test centre is at Aston University.
