Where will this course lead?
To give students an excellent insight into the world of working as cabin crew. This course can help prospective students to work within the Aviation Industry.
What will I study?
Students will study a range of subjects relevant to the industry such as:

Emergency Situations
Dealing with Passengers
Selling Techniques
On-Board Announcements
Airport Health & Safety
Security in Aviation

How will this course be delivered?
The majority of the course will be held within the classroom undertaking theory, practical and role play activities. There are also a wide range of guest speakers working at Birmingham Airport, who are Cabin Crew, Passenger Service Agents, Ramp Agents and Dispatchers. This all makes for an interesting introduction to working within this diverse industry. The lecturers have all worked as cabin crew and are fully updated to industry requirements yearly
What qualifications will I get?
Certificate in Air Cabin Crew (QCF)
How will I be assessed?
To pass this course, students will be assessed by written assignments, practical activities, role plays, presentations and seminars
How do I get a place on the course?
Places are offered by a successful interview only and will take around 30 minutes
What are the entry requirements?
Four GCSE's at Grade D or above
What else do I need to know?
The mode of study is 17 hours per week over 30 weeks (510). Students will need to dress smartly throughout the course and to maintain a 100% timekeeping and attendance level.

What can I do after this course?
Successful students can progress on to various Travel & Tourism courses at the Blossomfield Campus Which also includes the BTEC level 3 Cabin Crew course.
