Where will this course lead?

The course is for level 2 beauty therapists who wish to complete their formal training to pursue a career in the industry.

What will I study?

Body massage
Aromatherapy using pre-blended oils
Stone massage
Indian Head Massage
Self tanning treatments
Contribute to financial effectiveness of a business
Planning and implementing promotional activities
Monitor safety procedures at work

How will this course be delivered?

The course will be delivered within a commercial salon and a theory class room.
Our Beauty therapy facilities consist of 3 state of the art beauty salons with interactive whiteboards. You will be using salon exclusive products.

What qualifications will I get?

NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy (Massage) (QCF)

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will be ongoing and it is in a range of different tasks, half the course will involve practical assignments assessed within our college commercial salons, and the other half within a theory classroom which will involve assignments, exams and a portfolio.

A successful interview will be required.

You will need a level 2 beauty therapy qualification
C grade English language
A satisfactory reference

What else do I need to know?

The course will run at our Blossomfield Campus. Trips and external training will be offered subject to additional costs.
