Here’s your opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the media from the people in the know. Our lecturers are experienced industry professionals and best-placed to give you a unique insight into this exciting, fascinating and complex world.
From shooting your own documentary to studying the impact of our celebrity culture, we’ll develop your creativity and open doors you never knew existed. You’ll also have excellent access to industry-standard audiovisual equipment that’s bang up-to-date, with a technician on hand providing help if you need it. We’re well connected too, getting you involved with local media outlets like Galaxy FM, Warwick Arts Centre and Ikon, as well as universities including Liverpool Hope and Leicester.
The Media Careers Event will provide you with a real taster of what lies ahead after completion of your Media course at Solihull College. Hear from past and present students who will share their experiences with you. Local universities will also be in attendance to help with your Higher Education questions and offer careers advice about progression within this thriving industry.
