BTEC National Diploma – Children’s Care, Learning and Development
"Having had my son so young has made me grow up really quickly but I've loved looking after him and he's sparked my ambition to become a primary school teacher."
"I’ve started working towards that goal by studying on one of the College’s childcare courses and have had so much fun doing it. I’ve made lots of new friends as well which I wasn’t really expecting to and my tutor is really helpful – as well as funny. We get on really well and that makes my college experience fantastic!”
Rachel has been constantly achieving on the National Diploma in Childcare and is now looking forward to moving onto the College’s Higher Education courses to make her dream come true.

Apprenticeship in Hairdressing
This saw him being guaranteed a place at the annual national finals at the Blackpool Winter Gardens Hair Festival. Jonathon beat off stiff competition to be awarded 2nd place in the Ladies Evening Style heat, securing him a place in the final in Blackpool.
"My apprenticeship is going really well and getting 2nd place at a regional competition as well as getting to the finals in a national competition has been amazing. The course has been exactly what I wanted and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to train within hairdressing. I feel really confident now and am looking forward to being able to register as a professional hairdresser when I finish my course."Hide
