This course develops your skills across the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Whether you study at Level 2 or 3, you'll improve your understanding of the role of science in the working world, exploring the industrial and theoretical applications of the subject.
At Level 2 you'll also have the opportunity to take GCSE Maths and/or English and improve your IT and communication skills. These courses will allow a smooth progression right through to an appropriate university course or a role in industry. The Science Careers Event will provide you with in-depth information about the applied science courses on offer at Solihull College. The event will focus on the wide variety of Higher Education opportunities on completion of the courses both at Solihull College and at University. Emphasis will also be on employment opportunities for students who wish to progress onto Higher Education.
