Solihull College is clear choice for global optical giant
Solihull College provides spectacular training for international optical specialist.
More than 30 employees from Birmingham based BBGR Ltd – which manufactures eye wear for the global market, recently completed the College’s bespoke Optical Manufacturing NVQ.
The College is the only provider in the West Midlands to deliver the unique programme which aims to give staff working in the optical sector a deeper understanding of industry practise, from lens production to identifying the needs of customers.
The course also covers areas such as effective teamwork and business efficiency giving learners a better insight into how their actions contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
Training Manager Aaron Godden who contacted the College in search of the perfect training package is delighted with the programme: “The training provided by the College has proved to be a real benefit to us. Not only has it given employees a better understanding of the complexities of their roles, but it’s raised their confidence and awareness of how to work more efficiently. I’d like to congratulate the team for their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the programme and look forward to working with Solihull College in the near future.”
