Solihull College kicks off Adult Learners’ Week (15th- 21st May)
Solihull College will be hosting two adult open events in celebration of Adult Learners’ Week 2010 – the UK’s largest learning campaign to encourage more adults to give learning a go.
Taking place next week, the events will offer adults wanting to enhance their career prospects with a professional qualification, those looking for a career change as well as those who want to gain the qualifications needed to study at university-level, the perfect opportunity to find out how Solihull College can help.
The first event will be taking place at the Blossomfield Campus on Tuesday 18th May from 3.30pm-7pm and the second at the Woodlands Campus on Thursday 20th May between 3.30pm-6.30pm.
Information on the College’s Management and Professional courses including Marketing and Accounting and advice about Access Programmes in areas such as Health and Social Care, Business and Sport, will be on hand and course tutors will also be there to answer any questions.
College Principal Brenda Sheils said: “ At Solihull College we are proud to have an extremely broad range of courses available to people of all ages and abilities and Adult Learners’ Week is the perfect opportunity for us to highlight exactly what we have to offer. We encourage as many people as possible to come along to these open events and find out more.”
