It’s never too late to take the all important step into University Level education and be well on your way to a more fulfilling and exciting new future. Solihull College offers a range of qualifications that get can get you on to one of our many University Level courses. These can range from BTEC National Diplomas, NVQ Level 3s to the more traditional A Level routes.
Holding a Higher Education qualification, whether it be a HNC, HND, Foundation Degree or Degree can make a big difference to your career, and is desired by most employers if you want to progress into a senior or managerial role.
If you already have a particular course in mind then please check the entry requirements on the course listing to see whether you’re previous qualifications or experience are relevant.
The entry requirements for our University Level courses vary, however you will normally be able to apply for one of our courses if you hold the following:
- A levels
- NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications)
- SVQs (Scottish Vocational Qualifications)
- BTEC qualifications and OCR nationals
- Key Skills qualifications
- Advanced Diploma qualifications
- International Baccalaureate
- other specialist and professional qualifications
If your qualifications don't meet the standard entry requirements for our University Level courses then why not enrol on to one of our Access Programmes? - Access Programmes allow you to develop your study skills, knowledge and build your confidence. These courses provide the perfect stepping stone to university education.
If you already have a Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Higher National Diploma (HND), you may be able to enter a first degree course at the start of the second or third year.
If you have a Foundation Degree, you may be able to enter a degree course at the start of the third or final year.
