This is a great introductory course for students who are new to the UK and looking to develop their English language skills.  After this course you might like to further develop your English skills on an ESOL or Functional English course or go on to one of our community courses.

What will I study?

This course gives you an introduction to living in the UK, we will study the following: 

Find out about services and systems in the UK 

Develop your language skills 

Meet and engage with others new to the UK 

Discover information about British culture and customs 

How will this course be delivered?

This is a 2.5 hour class every week for 4 weeks. Blossomfield Campus - Tuesdays 09:30-12.00.

What qualifications will I get?

This is a personal development course there is no qualification gained. 

How will I be assessed?

This course will be informally assessed by the tutor also by the student's self-assessment and evaluation.

What are the entry requirements?

No qualifications or previous experience are needed for this course. 

You must be aged 19+.
