What will I study?

A wide range of floristry designs and techniques, the programme is negotiated with the tutor and will cover designs at all levels.

How will this course be delivered?

Standard classroom format, mostly practical work, the tutor will usually demonstrate the design the week before you make it.

What qualifications will I get?

This is an informal course you will receive a College Certificate. For commercial floristry Qualifications please contact the awarding bodies - City and Guilds and Edexcel.

How will I be assessed?

Informal assessment and verbal feedback from your tutor in the classroom and written feedback via the ILP.

What else do I need to know?

You will need to bring flowers and sundries each week. This will be discussed with your tutor. Materials are not supplied, you will also need a few tools - Floristry scissors and a knife, the work can be messy so you may prefer to wear an apron.

Students will need to buy/source flowers/foliage and sundries for themselves.
