A GCSE in Biology can be used in a high number of cases where a GCSE Science qualification is required as a condition of entry. For example, nursing degrees and teaching training programmes.

How will this course be delivered?

The classes will last for two hours a week over 30 weeks.

These will include lectures, learning activities and laboratory sessions. Students will be expected to spend several hours doing private study in order to reach the standard requirements for examinations.

How will I be assessed?

You will sit two exams of 1 hour 45 minutes duration each in the summer examination window of the academic year you are studying in.

Successful completion of an interview and diagnostic assessment.
