HORTICULTURE & CONSERVATION

If you’re interested in working outdoors and with plants, the Horticulture Apprenticeship with Solihull College is the perfect choice.

You could find yourself working as a landscaper where you’ll learn how to create and maintain designed landscapes, which can range from anything including parks, gardens, sports grounds or golf courses.

Alternatively you could work in a nursery and discover how to deal with large-scale production of plants for food and display purposes, including fruit, vegetables, plants and flowers for sale.

The Advanced Apprenticeship allows you to move into a specialist or senior level role, whether it’s as a deputy head green keeper, garden designer or horticultural technician.

Here at Solihull College we’ve helped place hundreds of apprentices with employers across the West Midlands and Warwickshire and our apprentice success rates continue to soar above the national average. So whether you live in Solihull, Birmingham, Coventry or further afield, apply for an Apprenticeship with us and start your journey to success.

Below are the types of apprenticeships we offer in this area, however to see what’s available right now, take a look at our current apprenticeship vacancies.
