Where will this course lead?

Introduction to the principles and skills of effective project management. It takes students through the stages of the life cycle of a project from initiation to completion and evaluation. You will be introduced to project management methodologies, including overview of the major processes and themes of the PRINCE2 project management methodology and how to lay the foundations for successful Agile projects and how an Agile project is managed.

After completing this Microsoft Project, Managing Projects course, students will be able to create a new project; analyse and adjust schedules with date, dependency and resource constraints; customize and print Gantt Charts and reports and record and review task progress against the baseline.

This course is available to study in the evening, over 12 sessions. Learners may re-enrol on course to extend their period of study.

The course includes continual assessments throughout the course with both practical and quiz exercises. Course certificates of completion are provided.

Learners must be over 19.

To ensure your success, you must have a basic understanding of your computer's operating system. For example, you should know how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from other media.
