Level 3 - Accounting Advanced Diploma (AAT)

How will I be assessed?

All AAT qualifications are assessed by external examinations set and marked by the AAT. Some exams are wholly computer marked with results being available within 24 hours of taking the exam, others are partially human marked with results being released within 6 weeks of the exam.

How do I get a place on the course?

You will enquire on the website - details are below and one of the team members will contact you to assess suitability and explain the next stage for you.

What are the entry requirements?

You will have completed AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Level 2) or its equivalent. Occasionally it may be possible to offer direct entry onto Level 3 based on previous accounting/finance work experience. Applicants seeking direct entry onto Level 3 will be asked to complete a diagnostic test to ensure that they have a thorough knowledge of double entry bookkeeping. Please note that our usual entry point for AAT courses is at Level 2.

What else do I need to know?

All AAT professional courses require a significant commitment from the student. It is essential that you can commit to spending at least as long on private study as you are spending online. You can also purchase books to support at approximately 100 pounds.

The formal AAT registration fee is included in the cost.

We offer two options for payment:

Option 1 - Exams fees inc retakes, are undertaken by yourself at approximately 65 pounds per exam.

Option 2 - We pay for the 4 Exams and up to 1 retake (any further retake you will incur the cost)

This is only recommended for students who have shown a strong commitment to their studies and who have achieved at least a merit at level 3.
