Friday, 2 June, 2017

Solihull College & University Centre is inviting families to come and experience its stunning period house and gardens at its Blossomfield Campus in Solihull. The event will take place on Saturday 10th June between 11am-3pm.

The large Animal & Land Management Centre at the College, home to a variety of animals including meerkats, donkeys and lambs, will be open throughout the day for visitors to meet the animals and learn more about how they live. There will also be a plant sale and demonstration within the grounds, virtual reality demonstrations and a bouncy castle for the kids.

The College offers a number of Animal & Land Management courses at a variety of levels, from school leaver programmes all the way up to degree level. Tutors and students will be available on the day to discuss the pathways available to a career with animals for those who’d like to find out more.

The Open House & Gardens event is set to be a great day for all of the family. A BBQ and refreshments will be on offer throughout the day.

Entry and parking is free for all visitors and proceeds from the day will be going to a local charity.
