Where will this course lead?

This course is equivalent to 2 A-levels and will allow for you to move into one of our HE programmes. We currently have Degree programmes in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, studying up to Level 6.

We offer direct access from our HNC Mechanical and Electrical programmes, meaning that the first years of your degree will be an easier transition into Higher Education, and all can be studied part-time to be flexible around other commitments.

Year 1 - Wednesday 9:00am - 6:00pm

Year 2 - Tuesday 9:00am - 6:00pm

What qualifications will I get?

Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

How will I be assessed?

- Written Assignments

- In-class controlled assessments.

How do I get a place on the course?

Interview with the course team.

What are the entry requirements?

Candidates should already have a Level 2 qualification in both Maths and English.

What else do I need to know?

The course will require substantial time in self-study to keep on top of the number of assignments that are on the programme. Time management is key as well as 100% attendance to ensure that no content is missed.

This is a 2-year qualification made up of the Award in the first year and Diploma in the second year. Depending on prior attainment, you may be able to start straight onto the Diploma. If not, students will start on the Award qualification. The Award has a fee of £2,583.
