Where will this course lead?

Develop your artistic and creative skills and explore a range of art disciplines. Find your own style and experiment with new drawing and painting techniques.

What will I study?

Develop your drawing and painting techniques and practice different effects using a range of media such as acrylics, water colours, pencil, pastels and oils.

Learn to develop tone, texture, composition and layers. Practice basic drawing and sketching, working from pictures, photographs and still life. All skills taught over consecutive terms.

How will this course be delivered?

A 2-hour session each week for the duration of the course.

What qualifications will I get?

This is a personal development course.

How will I be assessed?

This course is for personal development and is informally assessed by the Tutor with self assessment and evaluation by the student.

What are the entry requirements?

Students should be aged 19+.

What else do I need to know?

Wearing an apron or old shirt to protect clothes is advisable.

Please note: Materials are not supplied for Cakes, flowers/floristry, Textiles, Soft furnishings, Stained glass, Homemade Crafts, Calligraphy, Art, Cookery,Sewing or Dressmaking.

Students are responsible for providing their own equipment.
