What will I study?

Are you interested in taking on a new hobby together with your child, then this workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn some new skills. No previous experience is required as you will be guided every step of the way.

In this workshop, you will work closely with your child, learning how to operate a sewing machine and overlocker, then create your own tote bag. You will also learn a variety of hand sewing techniques such as appliqué, applying beads, sequins and ribbons to decorate your bag.

A three hour workshop at the Wooldands Campus

Tutor will asses your work throughout the session

What are the entry requirements?

You must be aged 19+ to attend. This course is for 1 adult and 1 child, The child needs to be aged 8 and above and needs to be accompanied by the adult at all times, This course is designed for families to learn together. 

What else do I need to know?

Sewing machines and materials are provided, but if you wish to bring your own machine, you are more than welcome to bring it with you.
