Where will this course lead?

This course will enable students to go within and listen to their inner guidance and discover their next calling in life enabling them to decide where they wish to go next. We will have weekly meditations at the end of each personal focused week that can help the individual change their negative thought  patterns and enter a positive mind space as we confirm high vibrational thoughts and weekly affirmations on all the good in their life and future abundance. 

The purpose of the course is to help adults;

  • spark interest back into their life and overall wellbeing
  • spark interest back into education and potential future college courses and higher education
  • spark interest back to joy, self, relationships and becoming aware of the law of attraction.

What will I study?

Week 1; Personal development, how you want to feel (welcome guide to meditation and inner peace)

Week 2; Working on Relationships with yourself, others, and family members.

Week 3; Align your behaviour, the power of visualisation, routine and connecting back to the self to attract the best possible life.

Week 4: Discover your sense of purpose, self-worth and healing past trauma.

Week 5; Draw in what you desire in life (self-expression, home, hobbies and leisure, career and profession, health and well-being, Design your life)

Week 6; Action / vision boards, research, and process reflection. Next steps.

How will this course be delivered?

This course will be delivered face to face, in a work shop environment, most of the course will be delivered within the 2 hour class, with additional weekly tasks given each week. Each week we will also build and practice the art of meditation.

What qualifications will I get?

This is a leisure and personal development course.

How will I be assessed?

Ongoing tutor assessment with time for self-reflection. No exams.

What are the entry requirements?

You must be aged 19+. A willingness to learn new skills and enjoy being creative.

What else do I need to know?

This course will help anyone with loss of direction in their life and in need of guidance, it will help mums returning to work, school leavers requiring assistance  n their next steps in life, anyone overcoming doubt, fear, loss, illnesses and life challenges.

What can I do after this course?

Upon completion of you may consider progressing towards a higher level qualification at the College or consider how your new skills might lead into employment or self-employment opportunities. Whilst registered as a Solihull College student you have the benefit of access to the Careers Department who are able to give you information, advice and guidance on setting up your own business, and an opportunity to attend an optional 'start your own business' online workshop. Additionally, enrol on Distance Learning free courses, including: Maths, English, Business Administration, Team Leader, Principles of Customer Service, Information, Advice & guidance.
