Where will this course lead?

This course is suitable for those who have never studied Spanish before and would like to be able to communicate effectively in most everyday situations in Spain or a Spanish speaking country.

It is also a useful refresher for those with a very basic knowledge of the language.

What will I study?

The basic skills covered are speaking, listening, reading and writing in Spanish.

You will learn to cope with everyday situations such as introductions and meeting people, talking about yourself and others, ordering food and drink, requesting information, finding your way around and going shopping.

You will learn a range of useful vocabulary, key phrases and accurate pronunciation.

How will this course be delivered?

A two-hour class each week.

This course is delivered at various venues throughout the year.

What qualifications will I get?

This is a personal development course.

How will I be assessed?

This course is for personal development and is informally assessed by the tutor with self-assessment and evaluation by the student.
