What is a Higher Education Diploma?
Students who have completed a full-time two-year course of study at any higher educational institution or university will achieve a Higher Education Diploma. It is the equivalent to a Level 5 qualification for England, Northern Ireland, and Wales. A Higher Education Diploma is the academic version of a Higher National Diploma.

If you wish to study in Higher Education but don’t have the right entry requirements yet, you can undertake an Access to Higher Education Diploma at Solihull College. ‘Access to’ courses are entry courses – they are qualifications that will allow you to gain entry to the Higher Education Diploma at University Level.
