Solihull College offer range of HNDs
Wednesday, 15 July, 2015

Solihull College and University Centre are continuing to offer a variation of Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) at both their Blossomfield and Woodlands Campus in Solihull after successes in recent years.

HNDs are vocational qualifications which give students the chance to study towards a nationally recognised qualification, concentrating on both skills and knowledge of specific industries. HNDs focus on learning by doing and can offer individuals the chance to pursue a new career or progress in their current line of work.

Studying towards a HND at Solihull College means that students can remain in the local area to study if commitments such as family life and current jobs have previously meant that they have been unable to commit to university level education.

HND courses available at Solihull College include Computing, Engineering, Aerospace, Early Years, Electrical, Fine Art, Moving Image, Games, Graphics, Manufacturing, Photography, Science and Sport Science.

As well as giving individuals the opportunity to progress within their career or within a new career, Higher National Diplomas also give individuals the chance to progress even further with their education by completing a top-up degree, many of which are available at Solihull College and University Centre, to achieve a full honours degree. Solihull College works in partnership with many Universities to offer the courses for its students.
