Our 12-week Get into Floristry course is designed for anyone wanting to develop professional floristry techniques while gaining the confidence to run their own creative business. Taught through hands-on sessions and real industry experiences, the course culminates in the creation of floral installations for a public event at the Civic Centre.
Participants will learn how to design stunning arrangements, work to a client brief, source seasonal flowers, and price and market their services. Each week introduces new technical skills-from hand-tied bouquets and centrepieces to large event displays-alongside essential business knowledge such as branding, costing, sustainability, and client communication.
Whether you're looking to start your own floristry business, upskill for a creative career, or simply develop your passion, this course offers an inspiring blend of creativity, practical experience, and real-world learning.
Sessions take place on Friday afternoons at Woodlands Campus, with three additional morning trips to flower markets, suppliers, and industry venues, giving learners valuable insight into the world of professional floristry. The final session will be at the civic centre in Solihull to deliver and arrange the flowers. This will be on the 21st April.
