Following this course, learners may progress to Spanish for Holidaymakers Improvers, where they will further develop their conversational skills, improve fluency, and gain greater confidence in handling more complex travel and social situations.
This course is designed for learners who have completed Spanish for Holidaymakers Part 1 or who already possess a basic understanding of Spanish. It builds on previously learned vocabulary and phrases, enabling learners to communicate with greater confidence and accuracy.
Learners will revisit key holiday topics such as accommodation, travel, shopping, restaurants, and directions, while developing a broader vocabulary and a more secure understanding of grammar and common verb forms. Greater emphasis will be placed on creating simple conversations, asking questions, and understanding responses in practical travel situations.
The course also explores aspects of Spanish culture and the diversity of Spanish-speaking countries around the world.

Learners will be encouraged to communicate more independently and to apply their language skills in increasingly realistic situations.
This is a personal development course.
Assessment will be ongoing and informal, based on participation and progress throughout the course. Learners will demonstrate their skills through speaking activities, role plays, listening tasks and practical conversational exercises. Feedback from the tutor will help learners identify their strengths and areas for further development.
