What will I study?

This course is a relaxed, beginner-friendly introduction to streaming and broadcasting from home.

You don't need any previous experience or expensive equipment to get started. We'll take things step by step, showing you the basics of how streaming works and introducing simple, affordable hardware and software in an easy-to-understand way. There's no technical overload - just practical guidance at a comfortable pace.

Along the way, you'll explore different types of streaming and content creation, from chatting and sharing interests to creative projects, gaming, podcasts, or live broadcasts. We'll also look at the kinds of opportunities that exist online, whether you're interested in building confidence, learning new skills, meeting people, or simply trying something new from home.

This course is about exploring possibilities, boosting confidence, and having a go in a supportive environment. Whether you're looking for a new hobby, a creative outlet, or a gentle step toward future opportunities, this is a great place to start - no pressure, no expectations, just learning and experimenting at your own pace.

How will this course be delivered?

This course will be delivered at Blossomfield Campus but we will provide a free bus pass and lunch.

What are the entry requirements?

You must be 19+ and unemployed to joi this course. Priority will also be given to people living in a B37/B36 post code.
