What will I study?

During this practical, beginner-friendly course, you'll learn how to use Canva Pro to create engaging and professional digital content.

Topics may include:

• Getting started with Canva Pro and understanding the workspace.
• Creating social media graphics, posters, flyers and presentations.
• Working with templates to save time and improve design quality.
• Adding and editing text, images, icons and branding elements.
• Using Canva Pro features including Magic Design, Background Remover and Brand Kits.
• Creating content for personal, educational or business use.
• Understanding basic design principles to make your content stand out.
• Exporting and sharing designs across different platforms.

By the end of the course, you'll have produced a range of practical designs and feel confident using Canva Pro independently.

This is a college certificate course with no formal assessment. You'll learn through practical activities, guided demonstrations and hands-on projects, with plenty of support from your tutor throughout the course.

What are the entry requirements?

To enrol on this course, you should:

• Hold a West Midlands postcode.
• Earn £34,149 per year or less to be eligible for a free place.
• Have basic computer skills, such as using a keyboard, mouse and internet browser.
