Where will this course lead?
Work in floristry and related industries. Self-development and personal growth. Further study in Floral Art.
What will I study?
Floral design skills and creative craft activities using a range of techniques.
How will this course be delivered?
Practical demonstrations, production of floral art pieces with support, and guidance from the tutor, in class. You will be able to work safely with tools and equipment and compile a sketchbook/portfolio to record the development of your own floral design ideas.
What qualifications will I get?
OCNWMR Level 2 Award
How will I be assessed?
Formally assessed by the tutor with self-assessment and evaluation by the student.

What are the entry requirements?
Students should be age 19+
If you have learning difficulty or a disability, please let us know when you apply.
What else do I need to know?
Students need to bring their own flowers, foliage, and containers etc. Students will also need to supply their own floristry tools such as scissors, knives, ribbons, wires, and tapes. Over time they will build up a work box which will be needed most weeks.
What can I do after this course?
Join a flower club, further study in Floral Art. If you wish to progress to commercial floristry courses advice and signposting will be available from your tutor.
