Onto another sewing skills course which can further develop your skills or onto a pattern cutting course where you can learn about making your own clothes.
This course will cover the basics of sewing, you wil learn the correct terminology for the parts of a sewing machine and how to use a sewing machine safely. You will also learn how to thread a sewing machine and basic stitching. You will then complete a basic sewing project of your choice, guided by the tutor. This course is designed to be an introduction on how to use a sewing machine.
This course is planned to run during term time only and will not take place during college closures, including-but not limited to-staff training days and GCSE examinations. The total cost is calculated based on the total number of hours delivered for each programme.
