Graphic Design students get animated
Graphic Design students from Solihull College & University Centre have been creating a range of fantastic animations as part of their project work.
Students on the UAL Level 3 Diploma in Digital Graphics course were first tasked with taking a self–portrait and turning this into a moving image. This enabled them to build their animation skills in order to progress onto more challenging animation projects.
The next step was to produce a moving image around the theme of psychedelia and experiment with 2D, 3D and 4D animation.
Graphic Design Tutor Maninder Padam is impressed with the work produced: “Students have applied their contextual knowledge which in turn has helped them accomplish their own personal voice. We are very much looking forward to the results of their final major project.“
